Dr David Brown has spent more than 50 years across pharmaceutical research, biotechnology and company building. His career includes senior roles with ICI Pharmaceuticals/Zeneca, Pfizer, Glaxo Wellcome and Hoffmann-La Roche, followed by biotechnology leadership including President and Chief Executive of Cellzome AG.
At Pfizer, he was named a co-inventor on the patent for Viagra and led the programme from its early research through proof of clinical efficacy in human trials. He also played a pivotal role in the discovery of Relpax.
At Roche in Switzerland, he served as a director overseeing approximately 2,000 staff working in drug discovery across research sites in the United States, Europe and Asia. He later helped found biotechnology ventures including Crescendo Biologics and Healx.

T‑Booster is the centre of Dr Brown's advisory role with AVIX. He works with Dr Md Arif Sheikh to pressure-test the scientific logic, guide development thinking and help shape a credible route from formulation and human evidence towards partnership and market.

Alongside T‑Booster, Dr Brown collaborates with Dr Sheikh on Green Antibiotics — an AVIX programme exploring defined plant-derived antimicrobial combinations for animal health. His role is to bring drug-discovery discipline to the questions of screening, evidence, development strategy and translation.
